I am Fedex certified to ship reptiles and amphibians.
Only healthy hatchlings that are voluntarily feeding will be sold. All
hatchlings sold will have eaten at least 3 meals (minimum) with no regurges.
All hatchlings will be represented to the best of my ability. Each hatchling
that is purchased will have a feeding and shedding record sent along with
each animal. All snakes have a live arrival guarantee. If by chance your
shipment contains an animal that is DOA, Silver State Snakes must be informed
within 3 hours of delivery. Please provide a picture of the box and the
animal (laying belly up and without being held). All deliveries must be
signed for on the first attempt. Signiture on file or signature releases,
with Fedex, deem all guarantees null and void. Signature releases on file
allows the driver the right to leave your package outside your door in
the hot sun or cold. You must phyically sign for the package on the first
attempt at delivery. Your snake will be fully guarateed for 30 days upon
receipt of said snake. I cannot be held responsible for improper care/conditions.
If at any time during the first 30 days you feel there is a problem, contact
me immediately so we can discuss the issue to see if there is a viable
solution. If you have a delivery problem, please contact me and I will
handle it on my end. Please do not contact Fedex. I will be following
the tracking of your shipment and will handle any problems with delivery.
Shipping charges are on a per box basis.
If there is a possible health issue, buyer must assume responsibilty for
prompt veterinary care and a copy of the veterinarians report must be
forwarded to Silver State Snakes. At that time, if there is no physical
trauma and the report indicates internal problems, Silver State Snakes
will either replace the animal with another of equal value, refund the
full purchase price of the original animal including shipping costs (if
the snakes dies and the buyer does not want another animal), or reimburse
buyer for veterinarian treatment. This does not include problems associated
with regurges since regurges are usually related to husbandry/eviromental/handling
issues. The only exception to this is if regurges are the reult of intestional
parasites determined by a qualified veteranarian's fecal exam. If there
is no contact with Silver State Snakes after 30 days it will assume that
your animal has adapted and is thriving which resolves Silver State Snakes
of any and all obligations related to your purchase.
Silver State Snakes will not knowingly enter into a transaction with any
person under the age of 18. Any person under the age of 18 must provide
parental consent before purchasing any animal.
Silver State Snakes reserves the right to hold shipments during inclimate
weather in either the buyers or sellers location. Buyer will be adivsed
if there is a temporary delay in shipping due to weather conditions, not
only in their area but at any Fedex hub as well.
Prices may vary depending on the ratio of males to females. There may
be the standard 25% surcharge on lone females to prevent an overabundance
of males. Those females will be noted. Payments will be accepted via Paypal,
money orders or personal checks. Please be advised if paying with a personal
check your order will not be shipped until your check clears my bank.
Please be aware of your snakes needs. Have proper escape proof housing
and proper size mice ready for your new arrival. Once arrived, give your
snake time to adjust to it's new surroundings. Your new snake will be
stressed from all the bummping and bouncing from delivery. Try not to
handle your snake for at least a few days once it arrives.
